Job summary

Rainbow International Restoration is seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to join our team in Maryland. You will help restore carpets, upholstery and other materials damaged by water, smoke, or fire, while maintaining schedules and communicating clearly with customers.

The role requires reliability, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, a valid driver's license, and comfortable interaction with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or construction is helpful but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and be comfortable with heights.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure services are delivered on time.
• Respond to roof damages and water jobs, initiating water mitigation per IICRC standards.
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review paperwork.
• Maintain restoration and cleaning equipment and ensure availability.
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop business as needed.
• Assist in cross-training in related positions as required.
