Job summary

Rainbow International in Los Angeles is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our team. You will restore carpets, upholstery and draperies damaged by water, smoke or fire, working with our established procedures.

You should be self-motivated, able to manage time and communicate clearly with customers and supervisors. No prior restoration experience required, but valid driver's license and computer literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers, supervisors and teammates.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to multiple sites.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of business software and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to deliver services on time.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate mitigation per standards and Rainbow process.
• Communicate scope of work and review necessary paperwork with customers.
• Maintain restoration and cleaning equipment and ensure availability.
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop business.
• Cross-train in related positions as needed.
