Job summary

Restoration Management Company in Norcross, GA is hiring for Technician II. This role performs restoration tasks under supervision, using industry tools while following RMC quality standards. Reports to Branch Manager/Operations Manager and collaborates with other departments.

Minimum of one year in construction or similar work, with emphasis on safety, physical fitness, and ability to read instructions. The position requires OSHA/EPA safety adherence and potential safety training.

Qualifications

• One year minimum work experience in a construction or similar work environment.
• General understanding of basic safety protocols.
• Physically fit to perform duties described above.
• May require valid driver’s license
• Possess dexterity, good balance, good eye/hand coordination.
• Good grasp of English language (written and verbal) is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately to Lead Technician or Superintendent when necessary.
• Approved Respirator physical and fit testing
• Good understanding on use of hand tools, power tools and mild chemicals.
• Ability to read and understand basic written instructions.
• Use of good judgement works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from Lead Technician(s) regarding assigned work.
• General understanding of work within the restoration industry (tools, equipment, processes, safety protocols).
• Determine equipment and materials usage when assisting on the completion of a job.
• Assist on tasks to expedite completion of the job as directed by Lead Technician or Operations Manager, including ordering materials and moving contents.
• Assist in maintaining company vehicle and restock supplies.
• Complete time reporting paperwork and submit timecards.
• Attend safety briefings and training.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and safety protocols.
• May wear respiratory protection as needed.
