Job summary

SERVPRO of Alexander, Caldwell, Burke and Catawba Counties is seeking a Restoration Technician to be the front-line representative of the SERVPRO brand. You will coordinate, monitor, and perform work activities to fulfill service needs and ensure a positive customer experience.

Typical duties include preparing work areas, loading equipment, and ensuring safety while following OSHA guidelines. This role offers benefits and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is a plus.
• IICRC certification a plus.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent on-site service while supporting crew success.
• Prepare work areas and set up staging and equipment for each project.
• Inventory and load vehicle with equipment, products and supplies.
• Perform end-of-day cleanup and breakdown, leaving job sites clean and orderly.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisor and teammates to keep projects running efficiently.
• Manage customer and client experience and satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for job safety.
• Protect and properly use equipment and materials.

This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service on-site while supporting your crew's success
• Prepare work areas, set up staging and equipment for each project
• Inventory and load the vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving each jobsite clean and orderly
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and well-kept equipment
• Communicate with your supervisor and teammates to keep projects running efficiently
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction
• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is a plus, not required
• IICRC certification a plus, not required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
