Job summary

PuroClean is hiring a Restoration Technician to respond to water and property damage for homes and businesses. You will help restore properties, support customers, and keep equipment and sites clean. No restoration certifications are required to start; training is provided to build the technical skills.

This role involves hands-on, physical work with on-call and weekend availability. Career growth paths include Lead Technician and Project Manager as you gain experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, and mold restoration and cleanup work on residential and commercial jobs.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls and document progress.
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials as needed.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and professional.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor and teammates and follow safety procedures.

About The Role

As a

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll be part of a team responding to water and property damage jobs in homes and businesses. You’ll help restore properties, support customers during stressful situations, and keep our equipment and job sites clean and professional.

No two days are the same - this is hands-on, active work with room to grow. You do not need restoration certifications to be successful here. If you are dependable, physically capable, and take direction well, we can teach you the technical side.

What You’ll Do

• Perform water, fire, and mold restoration and cleanup work on residential and commercial jobs
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
• Respond to emergency service calls, including water losses, flooding, storm damage, and other property emergencies.
• Conduct moisture inspections, take moisture readings, and document drying progress.
• Perform selective demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Perform emergency board-ups, tarping, and temporary property protection as needed.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and professional
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Communicate clearly with your supervisor, office staff, and teammates
• Follow safety procedures, uniforms, and company standards
• Treat customers with respect and empathy during difficult situations

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in water damage restoration, mitigation, demolition, or a related construction field preferred
• Comfortable with physical labor in real-world environments (heat, humidity, tight spaces), lifting 75+ lbs and being on your feet most of the day
• Calm, respectful presence in customer homes and commercial sites
• IICRC certifications (primarily WRT & ASD) are preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Available for on-call and occasional weekend work

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)
• Performance bonuses
• Total earning potential: $50,000-$80,000/year
