Job summary

SERVPRO of Oldsmar/Westchase is hiring a Restoration Technician to perform and evaluate restoration activities across water and fire damage, set up specialty equipment, and manage job-site safety.

You will load and inventory vehicles, coordinate with supervisors, and develop restoration skills to advance within the company. Paid training and career progression are offered.

Starting pay ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, with overtime opportunities based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly and work in tight spaces.
• Experience with restoration equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage restoration, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and job-site findings with supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms for work, set up staging areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with management and other technicians to maintain production.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• Complete end-of-day cleanup and leave site orderly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities including but not limited to water extraction, fire damage restoration, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO Brand and grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

Skills, Physical Demands, and Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Pay

Starts at $15 - $20 an hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay.
