Job summary

A restoration services company located in Texas is seeking motivated individuals for a restoration position. You will respond to emergency situations such as water and fire damage, perform restoration activities, maintain work vehicles, and communicate effectively with clients. Candidates should have handyman or construction experience, a valid driver's license, and be willing to work on-call shifts. This role involves physical demands, including lifting and climbing ladders, in addition to team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction and fire damage cleanup.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with required tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and site findings with supervisors and clients.
• Perform cleaning tasks including drying and site clean-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to water extraction, fire damage cleanup, setup of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean‑up.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work occasional on‑call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
