Job summary

SERVPRO of West Greenville County is seeking dedicated personnel to handle emergency restoration tasks. In this role, you will address damage from water and fire, ensuring properties are restored efficiently and effectively. Strong teamwork and communication are critical to maintain client relationships and safety management.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license and preferably experience in restoration or construction. If you are motivated to learn and enjoy outdoor work, SERVPRO offers a supportive environment for personal growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction and demolition.
• Load and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and job site findings to supervisors.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding their concerns.
• Perform restoration and clean-up tasks including drying and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
