Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® is hiring a skilled Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration for residential and commercial properties. Ideal candidates are hands-on, work well under pressure, and prioritize customer care during stressful loss situations.

Responsibilities include water extraction, drying, and fire/smoke mitigation, plus operating equipment, documenting progress, and maintaining safe job sites. Evening, weekend, and emergency work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls.

• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.

• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services.
