A leading company in restoration services is seeking a Supervisor for Emergency Services in Bay City, Michigan. The role involves overseeing water, fire, and mold remediation projects, training technicians, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Candidates must hold relevant IICRC certifications and meet physical job requirements, with a focus on providing high-quality service during emergencies.
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Responds to all activities of emergency services and oversees restoration services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity.
Serve as the point person and first responder for every emergency loss.
Establish and record the scope of work to be accomplished.
Coordinate and supervise work on Emergency Water Services, including extraction, developing drying plans, and providing project documentation.
Coordinate and supervise work on Emergency Fire/Smoke Services, including deodorization, pack-outs, board-ups, and securing structures.
Coordinate and supervise work on Mold Remediation, including demolition and cleaning.
Coordinate and supervise work in the preparation and cleaning of carpets and furniture upholstery.
Oversee Equipment Maintenance and expendables, including maintaining MSDS sheets.
Communicate effectively with Management & Customers.
Train and supervise emergency services technicians and assistant technicians.
Maintain relationships with adjusters and communicate updates as needed.
Perform on-call rotations as required.
Complete jobs successfully and obtain certificates of completion.
Physical requirements include climbing ladders, listing at least 50 pounds, working in confined spaces, and working around various chemicals without adverse reactions or sensitivities.
Required certifications include IICRC certifications: Water Restoration Technician, ASD, Fire & Smoke Technician, Applied Microbial Remediation (PDR Certification), Carpet & Upholstery Technician (PO Certification).
Minimum requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, valid Driver’s License, and a current driving history from DMV.
