Job summary

Voda Cleaning and Restoration of Ann Arbor is seeking a Restoration Technician who will learn fast, earn industry certifications, and advance based on performance.

You'll perform hands-on restoration work (water damage, mold, etc.), document daily progress, and communicate professionally with customers on site. Training is provided, with a path from technician to leads and supervisory roles as you grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow a process.
• Smartphone or tablet with basic apps for job documentation.
• One year of floor or specialty cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Support restoration projects — water damage and mold, while you learn.
• Complete work orders, daily logs, and job documentation on mobile devices.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with customers on site.
• Inspect your own work to ensure it meets our standards.
• Keep equipment, tools, and the vehicle organized and ready for jobs.
• Handle basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Learn new tools, tech, and techniques as services expand.
• Maintain high quality, safety, and customer service.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow a process.
• Comfortable with a smartphone or tablet and basic apps for job documentation.
• A year of floor or specialty cleaning experience is a plus (think: strip and wax, tile and grout, air duct, upholstery) — but it's not required. We'll train the right person.
• A strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and pride in doing the job right.

Your Certification Track

Pay

Compensation is based on experience and climbs as you add skills and certifications, plus commission and customer tips on top of your hourly pay. The better you get, the more you make — no ceiling, no waiting around.
