Job summary

Vassar & Company Properties is seeking experienced Restoration Specialists to support emergency and scheduled restoration projects across our property portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling, including potential emergency response work. Jobs are assigned based on property needs, allowing you to accept work that fits your availability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in water, fire, and/or mold restoration (required).
• IICRC certification (preferred).
• Must have your own tools and restoration equipment (drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.).
• Knowledge of moisture detection, mitigation, and remediation processes.
• Ability to respond to emergency service calls when needed.
• Understanding of safety protocols and proper handling of damaged materials.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
