Job summary

Rainbow Restoration in Milwaukee provides 24-hour emergency restoration, carpet cleaning and construction services. As a Service Technician, you will support field operations, read maps, communicate with customers about scope of work, and help manage paperwork and scheduling.

You will work with a team, be on-call, and contribute to a professional company image while delivering timely service per IICRC standards. Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company; team members are on-call.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and personality.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Smartphone/tablet literacy; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Xactware experience helpful but not mandatory.
• Restoration/construction experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles with trailers.
• Read and understand maps and directions.
• Work with a team to execute scope of work.
• Communicate with customers about scope and review paperwork.
• Establish and maintain an on-time service schedule.
• Meet deadlines and participate in broader restoration tasks.
• Participate in water/mold/trauma/cleaning/restoration projects as needed.
• Maintain company assets and equipment.

As a Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration. Specific Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles with trailers
• Ability to read and understand maps & directions

• Possess or have the ability and willingness to learn and participate in performing:
• Water restoration
• Mold remediation
• Trauma scene cleaning
• Smoke & fire damage restoration
• Carpet & upholstery cleaning
• Content cleaning
• Lead remediation
• Boardup & tarp over services
• Property maintenance
• Construction projects
• Respond to jobs and initiate work in accordance with IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processes
• Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and personality
• Team player who can work independently
• Smart phone and tablet computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software applications
• Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other computer software
• Ability to learn new computer software
• Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatory
• Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
• Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.

Compensation

• Competitive Pay ($14.50-$25+ Hour):
• Service Technician (entry level/minimal experience): $14.50-$15.50 Hr.
• Service Technician 1: $15.50-$17 Hr.
• Service Technician 2: $17-$18 Hr.
• Service Technician 3: $18-$22 Hr.
• Lead Service Technician: $22+ Hr.
• Field Operations Manager: $24+ Hr.
• Project Manager: $25+ Hr.
