Qualifications

• Construction, remodeling, restoration or project-management experience preferred or willing to train.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn construction practices, scheduling, estimating, documentation and insurance-restoration processes.
• Excellent customer service in stressful situations and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial repair and reconstruction projects from start to finish.
• Review approved estimates, scopes of work, contracts, selections, and project requirements.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, inspections, and permits.
• Conduct job-site inspections before work begins and throughout the project.
• Maintain regular communication with property owners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
• Explain timelines, work scopes, changes, delays, and expectations to customers.
• Ensure work meets approved scope, codes, company standards, and customer expectations.
• Identify scope discrepancies, hidden damage, and additional work requiring documentation or approval.
• Prepare and submit change orders, supplemental documentation, photographs, measurements, and supporting information.
• Monitor budgets, labor costs, materials, invoices, and profitability.
• Order materials and confirm availability before scheduling work.
• Ensure subcontractors maintain insurance, licensing, documentation, and quality standards.
• Perform routine quality-control inspections and address workmanship concerns promptly.
• Maintain complete project records, notes, photos, schedules, receipts, and communications.
• Coordinate final walkthroughs, punch-list items, sign-offs and closeout documentation.
• Assist with collecting deductibles, deposits, progress payments, and final balances as required.
• Respond professionally to customer concerns and seek timely solutions.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized job sites and follow OSHA requirements.
• Participate in production meetings and provide accurate project updates.
• Help build a dependable network of qualified subcontractors and vendors.
• Perform other duties to support restoration and reconstruction operations.
