Job summary

Merit Restorations is seeking a Restoration Project Manager in Winchester, VA to lead restoration projects from scope to closeout, coordinating with adjusters, subcontractors, and homeowners. You will manage budgets, schedules, and quality to ensure timely, on-budget repairs while delivering exceptional client service.

This role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in construction or restoration, strong estimating skills (Xactimate a plus), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction project management experience (residential, remodeling, or restoration).
• Insurance restoration or disaster recovery experience preferred.
• Strong estimating ability; Xactimate knowledge a plus.
• Exceptional organizational, detail orientation, and follow-through skills.
• Able to work at the company office in Winchester, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of restoration projects from scope to completion: estimating, contracts, schedules, budgets, and reporting.
• Oversee projects to ensure work meets specifications, codes, and schedules.
• Manage homeowner and adjuster communications and expectations.
• Prepare job budgets, track expenses, and manage cash flow; ensure minimum gross profit margins.
• Develop, manage, and improve procedures for efficiency and accountability.
• Ensure jobsite safety and provide updated two-week lookahead schedules.
• Deliver empathetic client service and advocate for homeowners during claims.
