Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

• Collaborate with Operations Manager to understand project objectives, scope, and timeline.
• Develop mitigation plans, including work methods, equipment, and resources.
• Ensure safety measures and compliance with regulations and permits.

Crew Supervision:

• Lead and manage field staff, assign tasks, and provide training.
• Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Equipment Management:

• Coordinate maintenance and operation of mitigation equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly for safety.
• Arrange repairs, replacements, and rentals as needed.

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct training.
• Investigate accidents and safety violations.

Environmental and Cost Management:

• Manage debris disposal and recycling of salvageable materials.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and report to the Operations Manager.

Communication and Quality Assurance:

• Maintain communication with team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Provide progress reports and ensure work meets quality standards.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of mitigation techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Physical fitness for demanding environments.

Requirements:

Proven mitigation or construction experience preferred; valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check. Field work may occur in various locations and weather conditions, requiring appropriate clothing and safety gear.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
