Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a growing restoration and reconstruction team. This role focuses on accurate estimates and strong customer service from inspection through completion.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in construction/restoration, with commercial and residential project experience and strong Xactimate skills to support profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of construction/restoration experience.
• Strong reconstruction and mitigation background.
• Experience with both commercial and residential projects.
• Proficiency with Xactimate and construction estimating.
• Strong understanding of project scope and pricing.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients, property owners, and adjusters.
• Stable work history with increasing responsibility preferred.
• Restoration experience strongly preferred.
• Industry certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial and residential properties following losses.
• Prepare detailed estimates and project scopes using Xactimate.
• Manage estimates from initial inspection through project completion.
• Communicate with clients, property owners, adjusters, PMs, and teams.
• Review scopes, identify changes or additional work, coordinate with production.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Help ensure projects are completed efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout estimating and project process.
