Job summary

Servpro Team Jones in Oklahoma City is seeking a Restoration Estimator to manage estimating for residential and commercial restoration projects, including water, fire, mold, and reconstruction. The role requires at least 5 years of proven estimating experience, Xactimate proficiency, and professional communication with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.

The Estimator ensures accurate scopes, profitable job execution, and timely updates with stakeholders, while coordinating with Production

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restoration estimating experience (water, fire, mold, reconstruction).
• Advanced Xactimate proficiency (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and carrier guidelines.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform onsite inspections, including attics, crawlspaces, and roofs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections to assess damages for restoration projects.
• Create detailed estimates using Xactimate and Servpro standards.
• Prepare scopes, sketches, photos, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure estimates meet carrier guidelines and timelines (24–48 hrs).
• Coordinate with Production team and manage supplements or change orders.
• Serve as primary contact for insurance adjusters and homeowners.
• Maintain complete job files with photos, moisture logs, and revisions.
• Follow OSHA, IICRC, and safety protocols.

Position Summary

The Restoration Estimator is responsible for managing the estimating process for residential and commercial restoration projects, including water, fire, mold, contents, and reconstruction. This role requires at least 5 years of proven experience in restoration estimating, Xactimate proficiency, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, property managers, and internal teams.

The Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate scopes, profitable job execution, and timely communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Scoping

• Conduct onsite inspections to assess damages for water, fire, mold, biohazard, and reconstruction projects.
• Create detailed, accurate estimates using Xactimate and Servpro standards.
• Prepare scopes, sketches, photos, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure estimates meet carrier guidelines and industry standards.
• Submit estimates within required timelines (often 24–48 hours).

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Production Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Technicians to ensure scope accuracy.
• Update estimates as needed based on supplements, change orders, or additional findings.
• Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and profitability analysis.
• Support the production team with material lists, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling.

Customer & Adjuster Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance adjusters, property managers, and homeowners.
• Explain scope, pricing, and timelines clearly and professionally.
• Negotiate supplements and revisions when necessary.
• Maintain excellent customer service and uphold Servpro’s reputation for integrity and quality.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain complete job files including photos, moisture logs, notes, and estimate revisions.
• Ensure compliance with Servpro corporate standards and insurance carrier requirements.
• Follow all OSHA, IICRC, and company safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restoration estimating experience (water, fire, mold, reconstruction).
• Advanced Xactimate proficiency (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and carrier guidelines.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform onsite inspections, including attics, crawlspaces, and roofs.

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, OCT).
• Experience with Servpro systems (DryBook, WorkCenter, DASH).
• Background in construction, remodeling, or general contracting.
• Experience working with commercial clients, property managers, and large‑loss adjusters.
