ServiceMaster DSI in Springfield, IL is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief/Restoration Supervisor for residential and commercial fire and water cleanup. You will lead crews, coordinate tasks like mitigation, water extraction, upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling.

You will mentor teammates, ensure quality and safety, manage equipment, and maintain client communication. The role offers on-the-job training, competitive pay starting at $21–$22 per hour, and benefits including

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Crew Chief experience in fire & flood restoration is highly desired; training provided.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Water Restoration Tech Certification (WRT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely quality completion of restoration projects.
• Directs and supervises Restoration Techs and staff laborers.
• Evaluates competence and quality of crew.
• Supports ongoing training and skills development.
• Ensures security and cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
• Oversees productivity of crew members.
• Prepares project documentation and photo documentation as required.
• Maintains excellent customer communication and relations.
• Performs other duties as required.
