Restoration Crew Chief – Lead The Front Line

Role Overview

As a Restoration Crew Chief you will direct, aid, and supervise Restoration Technicians on projects that include fire and water clean‑up, light demolition, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, and content move‑outs.

In addition, you will ensure timely completion, maintain equipment, document restoration projects, and foster excellent customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
• Direct, aid, and supervise the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers assigned to the project.
• Evaluate the competence and quality of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
• Drive continuous improvement in their knowledge and skill levels.
• Maintain the security, integrity, and cleanliness of all company equipment and supplies.
• Ensure productivity of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers under the Production Manager.
• Complete all required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo‑documentation, per protocol.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Prior restoration experience.
• IICRC Certification (WRT, ASD, FSRT preferred).
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Ability to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
