Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Wichita, KS is hiring a Restoration Technician to perform residential and commercial fire and water cleanup, mold abatement, and content handling. Training is provided on the job, and you will work as part of a team dedicated to high-quality restoration services.

You will drive a company vehicle to client sites, follow IICRC standards, and coordinate with customers to deliver timely, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs as part of duties.
• Must pass background check and drug screen. Restoration exp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to customer locations for restoration work.
• Perform fire and water cleanup, mold abatement, and related tasks.
• Maintain a clean jobsite and provide first-class service.
• Learn and apply fire and water restoration standards.
• Respond to water jobs and coordinate mitigation as needed.
• Balance schedule to deliver timely services, including on-call rotation.

The Position:

We’re looking for a Restoration Technician. WE PAY FOR YOUR TRAINING! This position is for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. Job assignments include but are not limited to specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack ins, and content cleaning.

Starts at $18- 22 per hour and that is negotiable based on experience.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Keep a clean and neat jobsite at all times leaving a first-class impression of our work.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely fashion, above the line, professionally and with empathy including participation in “On‑Call rotation” which involves some nights and weekend assignments.
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
