Job summary

SERVPRO of Wilson County is seeking a Crew Chief to lead restoration projects and ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining a positive customer experience.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate mitigation plans, and serve as the client liaison, promoting clear communication with insurers and team members. Flexibility for overtime and on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean history.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) must be current.
• 1+ years experience in restoration or related field preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership background is a strong asset.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property damage and develop mitigation/restoration plans.
• Lead restoration and mitigation projects from start to finish.
• Supervise and coach technicians on restoration techniques, safety and equipment use.
• Serve as a point of contact between clients, insurance reps and the team.
• Provide hands-on support in the field for water removal, drying, fire damage cleanup and mold remediation.
• Ensure tools and vehicles are maintained and stocked.
• Track progress, adapt strategies, and maintain regulatory compliance (IICRC/OSHA).
• Keep thorough documentation of equipment usage, moisture readings, and restoration reports.
• Respond to urgent service calls and participate in on-call rotation.
• Foster a safe, supportive work environment by upholding standards and safety protocols.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Will work in varied conditions: confined spaces, overhead tasks, exposure to chemicals, strong odors, and loud environments.
• Respirator use may be required for safety.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Expect overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.
