Job summary

SERVPRO of South Palm Beach is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief to coordinate production, supervise technicians, and ensure quality on restoration projects.

You will manage customer experience, document job files, and communicate progress with project managers, while following safety guidelines and OSHA requirements. This role requires leadership, reliability, and hands-on restoration expertise.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Climb ladders and work at ceiling heights; work in tight spaces.
• Able to push/pull/lift/carry objects repeatedly.
• Comfort with cleaning agents and safety procedures.
• IICRC certification a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction; monitor online reviews.
• Communicate expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
• Document detailed and accurate job files to support services provided.
• Manage labor and consumables on assigned projects.
• Communicate with project manager and office staff on progress and issues.

This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control


• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews


• Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities


• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided


• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects


• Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety


• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly


• Coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

• Valid driver's license


• High school diploma/GED (preferred)


• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction


• IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance


• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)


• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects


• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
