Job summary

Purofirst Fire and Water Restoration seeks a Contents Technician to assist with packing, inventory, cleaning, storage, and unpacking of customers’ personal property after water, fire, or other property damage. This role also handles contents cleaning at customer properties and follows management direction on the approved scope of work.

Typical hours vary; shifts may be part-time or full-time with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum cleaning/restoration experience preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to use iPad/iPhone and operate job-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, label, inventory, and prepare customers’ personal property for onsite or offsite storage.
• Assemble and accurately label contents boxes and maintain organized inventory records using company inventory software.
• Assist with pack-outs, pack-backs, loading, unloading, and movement of customers’ contents.
• Clean customers’ homes, structures, and personal property according to the approved scope of work and management direction.
• Perform contents cleaning using methods including hand cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning.
• Handle customers’ belongings carefully and professionally, report concerns to management.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Work in environments with odors related to property damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
