Job summary

ServiceMaster by McCann is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator who will serve as the central point of communication among customers, field crews, subcontractors, and office staff, managing scheduling, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards.

This role reports to the Disaster Restoration General Manager and requires travel between Defiance, Lima, and Toledo, with participation in after‑hours on‑call rotations to support customers during

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in construction project coordination or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of residential/light commercial construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restoration software (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Dash, Xactimate).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between Defiance, Lima, and Toledo locations.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for multiple jobs.
• Coordinate scheduling for crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct on-site meetings with customers to review scopes and timelines.
• Serve as primary client contact and provide regular updates.
• Track progress, identify delays, and resolve issues with field teams.
• Manage job documentation, logs, photos, change orders, permits, and inspections.
• Coordinate with insurers and third‑party vendors for claims and reconstruction.
• Attend final walkthroughs to ensure client satisfaction at closeout.
• Assist with job costing and invoicing; monitor budgets and flag variances.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies.
• Report to Disaster Restoration General Manager on status and resource needs.
