Position Overview

Project Managers lead our production activities in the field, making decisions that impact the success of the assignment. They perform a variety of tasks, monitor and inspect tasks for commercial and residential restoration jobs to ensure the completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. They prepare and review documentation, including notes, photos, and reports, according to company policies and procedures. They explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers, supervise technicians assigned to the job, and possess excellent technical and customer service skills to handle difficult situations.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Retrieve work orders, check routes, ensure equipment and supplies are loaded, and arrive at work sites.
  2. Complete assigned jobs according to company processes, maintaining quality within budget.
  3. Monitor active residential and/or commercial jobs and communicate with customers.
  4. Maintain records of personnel and resources, and communicate billable events.
  5. Create estimates in applicable software, if responsible.
  6. Inspect and scope jobs onsite, collaborating with team members on the scope of work.
  7. Document and review loss with photos and upload into the system.
  8. Write mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
  9. Communicate key job information using notes in the software.
  10. Manage estimates based on carrier standards and client feedback.
  11. Explain drying and restoration processes to customers in person, using printed materials as guides.
  12. Interface with adjusters and customers to resolve issues and answer questions.
  13. Perform quality assurance inspections post-completion and obtain customer signatures.
  14. Prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursement.
  15. Train new technicians or team members as needed.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance restoration or construction industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Professionalism, maturity, and customer service orientation.
  • Experience managing teams of two or more.
  • Experience with data entry on tablets or mobile devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • On-call schedule availability.
  • Certifications such as ASD, FSRT, OCT, and WRT are preferred.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Employees must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in various environments. Safety equipment like respirators must fit properly. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually. The role involves working in diverse environments and may require physical exertion and on-call availability. This description is not exhaustive and may be modified as needed.
