Job summary

Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking a Carpenter/Restoration Technician for onsite work in Sheboygan, WI. The role involves hands-on carpentry, painting, drywall, and material handling to restore damaged properties.

You will work under project managers, with duties spanning safe tool use, material deliveries, and timely completion of tasks. Salary ranges $34–$38/hour ($71,000–$80,000 annually) with a company vehicle benefit, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Carpentry experience is required.
• Drywall experience is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• No felony convictions are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform trim carpentry, rough framing, door hanging, base installation and mitering, casing installation, and cutting materials to specified measurements.
• Safely operate power tools and table saws.
• Deliver materials to job sites using a company-owned vehicle.
• Complete painting tasks including texturing, spray applications, and roll-on painting.
• Install drywall, tape and mud seams, sand, and feather drywall into existing walls.
• Perform stain matching and staining.
• Apply general construction and property damage restoration methods.
• Work directly with project managers to complete tasks correctly and on time.
• Show compassion when working with property owners and project payees following a loss.
• Participate in the board-up on-call rotation and take leadership when responding to emergencies.
