Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Level 2 Progressive Carpenter to support restoration projects in Seattle. You will perform carpentry tasks, learn on-the-job from experienced carpenters, and develop skills through BELFOR's progressive track.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed. BELFOR provides a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals of carpentry and tool usage.
• On-the-job training through experience with intermediate and advanced carpenters.
• Level 2 in the Progressive Carpenter track.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from experienced carpenter and supervisor.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for construction dust, dirt and airborne contaminants in the work area.
• Perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Develop material knowledge related to trims, doors, cabinetry (types, purposes, grades).
• Develop proficiency in installation of insulation.
• Learn framing, trim installation, cabinetry installation under supervision.
• Learn to dry-in a building with roofing material installation under supervision.
• Learn MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes.
• Report time worked and equipment/ consumables used timely and accurately.
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses as required.
