Job summary

The City of Arlington is hiring for catering support roles. You will set up and break down facilities for catered functions under management, and assist servers to ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean dining area.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Willingness to perform dishwashing and bus-person duties as assigned.

SALARY:

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Set up and break down facilities for catered functions under the direction of Management
• Perform one of the following job sets:
  • Bus person:
    • Provide assistance to servers to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction
    • Maintain cleanliness of front-of-the-house area and restock condiment containers as necessary
    • Serve water to guests and provide refills as needed
    • Clear tables after guests leave
    • Remove litter, mop floors, and clean service areas.
  • Dishwasher:
    • Provide staff with clean cooking utensils and service ware for the guests' dining experience
    • Perform routine washroom cleaning tasks including maintenance and sanitation of dish machine.
