Zippy’s in Hawaii is seeking a Utility worker to keep dining areas clean, assist servers, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will report to store management and help maintain safety and sanitation across the restaurant.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred), can stand long hours, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. The role is non-exempt and paid hourly at $17.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and writing skills required.
• Able to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans the dining area, restrooms, and surrounding areas to ensure safety and sanitary conditions.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work and guest area by cleaning and replenishing items.
• Scrubs pots, pans, and utensils; operates the dishwashing machine; replenishes workstations.
• Stocks delivered items and rotates stock accordingly.
• Assists servers by bussing tables when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
