Job summary

Zippy’s in Hawaii is hiring Wait Help to provide courteous and efficient guest service during the dining experience. This non-exempt, part-time role reports to store management and requires friendly interaction, basic math for transactions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cash handling experience, and a willingness to learn about menu items and promotions while maintaining cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a host or server preferred.
• Previous cash handling preferred.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, input into POS, and process checks.
• Serve and refill beverages, bus tables promptly after guests leave.
• Describe menu items and ongoing promotions to guests.
• Maintain communication with kitchen staff and inform guests of order status.
• Prepare and serve beverages and desserts.
