Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking Restaurant Team Members to join Miss J's Cafe and Dunkin'. You will provide excellent customer service, assist with food preparation, maintain a clean store, and help ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Walk-in interviews are held daily from 11am-4pm at our travel center in Tonkawa, OK. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, preparing menu items, handling cash at the POS, and keeping the dining area and kitchen sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.

• Assist during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Restock ingredients and monitor inventory; report shortages.
• Assist with opening/closing duties as needed.

At LV Petroleum, we are searching Restaurant Team Members to join BOTH our iconic Miss J's Cafe and Dunkin'. Two GREAT brands in need of food service talent. As a team member at the cafe, you will be involved in a variety of duties centered around providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Take customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferences.
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
• Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Food Preparation:
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards.
• Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes.
• Maintain quality and presentation of food items.
• Cash Handling:
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments).
• Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
• Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
• Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
• Teamwork:
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
• Support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently.
• Stocking and Inventory:
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management.
• Ensure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety.
• Opening and Closing Duties (if applicable):
• Help with opening and closing the store, which may include setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
