Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC, operating a Sbarro’s restaurant in Judsonia, Arkansas, is hiring Food Service Team Members to provide friendly service, prepare sandwiches and salads, and maintain a clean and efficient store environment.

You will work as part of a team, handle POS transactions, assist with restocking, and support opening/closing duties. Previous food service or customer service experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

This role involves a variety of duties centered around providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store
• Take customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferences
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience
• Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Food Preparation:
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards
• Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes
• Maintain quality and presentation of food items
• Cash Handling:
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments)
• Accurately handle cash and provide correct change
• Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting
• Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen
• Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff
• Teamwork:
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with training new team members as needed
