Restaurant Team Member
At Panera Bread, you’ll be the heart of hospitality—bringing warmth, care, and joy to every guest interaction. As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll support our bakery‑cafe operations and help our guests enjoy the best Panera experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador for Panera Warmth in every guest interaction.
- Execute duties within your assigned area (production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive‑thru, barista, guest experience champion, QC, etc.).
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm.
- Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas while staying on the move.
- Maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment following food‑safety standards and cleaning protocols.
- Stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
- Complete cleaning and stocking duties and help set up the next shift.

Qualifications
- Minimum age 16+ and able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Clear communication skills and ability to understand directions in a loud environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating moments of comfort, connection and joy for guests.
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Basic food safety knowledge and completion of required training (Food Handler’s Card, as required by law).
- Enjoy working with food. Food service experience is preferred but not required.
The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location.
