Job description

As one of the frontline positions for the company, this role is integral to the company's success. The ideal fit for this position would be an energetic, outgoing, people-oriented candidate with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of customer focus. The primary purpose of a Customer Service Associate is to directly interact with customers and deliver a fast, fun, and friendly experience while maintaining a safe and clean environment.


Customer Service:
  1. Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner.
  2. Provides a pleasant dining experience to all our customers and responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
  3. Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures.
  4. Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations.
Food Safety:
  1. Follows sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  2. Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, and ordinances.
  3. Sustains consistently high-quality food preparation and service.
  4. Keeps a professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards.
Teamwork and Communication:
  1. Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive, and cooperative manner.
  2. Helps other associates in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills.
  3. Communicates any issues or concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to the GM in a timely manner.
Cash Handling:
  1. General knowledge of all point-of-sale equipment.
  2. Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently.
  3. Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Stock Control:
  1. Receives and stocks all merchandise in accordance with company policy.
  2. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures.
  3. Ensures stock is faced up, clean, and presentable at all times.
  4. Applies the FIFO (first in, first out) system when receiving or stocking any product.
  5. Ensures all damaged and/or out-of-date stock is removed, accurately recorded, and placed in the designated quarantine area.
  6. Follows portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize loss.
Security & Loss Prevention:
  1. Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss (i.e., drive-offs or retail theft, etc).
  2. Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end-of-day closure. Cleanliness is maintained at a high standard of cleanliness.
  3. Cleans in accordance with the Liberty's/brand-specific sanitary standards, including but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, kitchen, and service equipment.
  4. Cleans the customer service area by removing trash and cleaning restrooms and the parking lot.
Occupational Health & Safety:
  1. Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to ensure workers, customers, suppliers/contractors, and the environment are not at risk.
  2. Complies with all company safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
  3. Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury. Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all Liberty safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Must be at least 16 years of age.
  2. Physically capable of standing for long hours.
  3. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
  4. Must pass a background check.
