Job summary

The Westin Great Southern Hotel, Columbus, OH, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for our Food and Beverage team. Join a team dedicated to exceptional guest experiences in a historic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership experience in Food & Beverage.
• Food handler certification.
• TIPS (or equivalent) certification.
• Knowledge of health department standards.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager with day-to-day supervision and operation of the outlets.
• Train new associates and assist with scheduling.
• Interact with guests to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Assist with ordering and completing requisitions.
• Ensure day-to-day side work is completed by associates.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

In this role, you will assist the Food and Beverage Manager with the day to day supervision and operation of the outlets. Training of the new associates, assist with scheduling, interact with our guest to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues if any. You will also assist with ordering and completing requisitions and ensure that the day-to-day side work is completed by associates.

Does this sound like you?

You have at least one year of experience in a leadership role in Food and Beverage and a thorough knowledge of the discipline. You have your food handler and TIPS (or equivalent) certifications. You are familiar with health department standards. You have a passion for the hospitality industry and take pride in creating for our guests a memorable experience. You are looking for some flexibility in a job, so working a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends works for your personal life.
