Job summary

Shake Shack Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced shift supervisor in Charlottesville, VA. You will manage the flow of service, direct a team of hourly Team Members, and help maintain safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed across shifts.

You will also participate in applicant interviews, support operational functions, and contribute to a high performing team. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and a focus on guest experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
