Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run daily operations and lead staff. You will ensure safe, clean kitchen and dining areas, coach team members, and drive customer satisfaction through efficient service.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to handle various shifts in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Join a team that values growth and performance.

Formación

• Experience in leading a restaurant team and ensuring Food Safety procedures.
• Ability to manage shifts and serve customers with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen and comply with food safety rules.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Assist the General Manager with tasks, safety, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach team members in preparing and packaging orders and delivering great service.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and ensure proper functioning.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
