Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to guide staff, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and drive customer satisfaction. You will assist in leading team members, managing processes, and implementing strategies to boost sales and service quality.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and consistent execution of standards, with opportunities to develop within a dynamic, family-owned environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe, clean kitchen and proper food safety practices.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
