Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team, ensuring food is prepared accurately and delivered to customers promptly
  • Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks
  • Maintain exemplary product knowledge and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Handle customer complaints and issues with food in a polite, solution‑oriented manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Accept deliveries and verify completeness; issue refunds if necessary
  • Communicate inventory status to managers/owners, including arrival, completeness, and low‑stock items
  • Perform daily petty cash checks and procure change from the bank when needed
  • Restock the register nightly for correct change
  • Report employee strengths, weaknesses, dependability, and customer service to managers/owners
  • Manage break schedules and ensure employees arrive on time and take appropriate breaks
  • Attend management meetings
  • Propose new ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and innovation, including recipe ideas
  • Assist with interviews, evaluations, and staff training
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Memorize training material and explain the health benefits of ingredients to customers in a positive, informative manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby and outside areas, checking every 15 minutes
  • Register and ring up guests; answer phone calls and take orders over the phone
  • Follow standard recipes and produce all food in a timely, sanitary manner
  • Prepare food according to proper procedures
  • Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
  • Store deliveries properly and keep the work area organized
  • Wash dishes and store them appropriately
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time
  • Deliver food to customers
  • Communicate scheduling needs and days off to managers in a timely manner
  • Arrive on time, take scheduled breaks, and complete all opening and closing duties
  • Perform additional tasks requested by the manager
  • Follow sanitation guidelines, safety procedures, and adhere to cost‑cutting measures
  • Stock, rotate, and track food quality
  • Pitch in and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Handle basic computer and POS system operations, including cash and credit card handling
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a positive attitude towards co‑workers
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities
