Job description

Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Reports To: General Manager

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the profitable operation of a specific shift, ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and regulations.

  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements.
  • Adhere to and enforce all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain profitability by managing food costs, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth within established guidelines.
  • Lead the restaurant team to deliver superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, embodying the Firehouse Subs culture, mission, and vision.
  • Assist the GM in implementing operational plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and submitted on schedule.
  • Engage actively in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner and HQ regarding any issues impacting the business.
  • Work on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the GM/Owner.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and insurance.
  • Obtain a valid Serv-Safe Food Manager's certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Make the Guest experience the top priority.
