Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in New York, able to support the GM and AGM and manage daily restaurant operations. You will lead a team across cashier, lobby, prep, grill, and closing duties, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service in a fast-paced environment.

Required: 1+ year fast casual restaurant management, NY ServSafe Level 1 certification, and strong communication. Weekends/holidays availability; compensation includes tips and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year fast casual restaurant management experience.
• NY: Level 1 ServSafe Certification.
• Read, write, speak, and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM and AGM in managing the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction, profit maximization and high performing teams.
• Provide hands-on support of employees and tasks across positions including cashier, lobby, prep, grill, fries, opening and closing duties.
• Lead a team effectively and communicate clearly to ensure smooth operations.
