Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Restaurant Shift Lead in Crown Point, IN, to support the management team with strong communication and leadership. You will supervise frontline and back-of-house operations, help control costs and labor, ensure adherence to recipes, and uphold service standards.

Qualifications

Must have strong communication and leadership abilities.
Experience supervising restaurant staff is preferred.
Ability to coach and enforce recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

Help maintain projected costs and labor during shifts.
Provide hands-on supervision in both Front of House and Back of House.
Host promotions and events to drive sales and engagement.
Ensure staff follow recipes and procedures.
Enforce liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
Monitor guest flow and ticket times to optimize service.
Coach staff to maintain consistent food and service quality.
Conduct 100% table visits when applicable.
Promote a safe, positive work environment aligned with core values.

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a Restaurant Shift Lead who has strong communication and leadership skills to assist the management team.
Responsibilities As a Restaurant Shift Lead your responsibilities would include (responsibilities would vary depending on Front of House or Back of House):

Helping to maintain projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts
“Hands on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to, occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties
Hosting promotions (incentives) and Alley Rallies
Helping make sure staff is following established recipes and procedures
Helping enforce applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
Helping to control the guest flow and monitoring ticket times
In conjunction with all management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies in areas of responsibility
Coaching employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales
100% table visits (if applicable)
Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
Maintaining culture and core values: passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose
Working during peak business hours to set the pace in Front or Back of House
Creating a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
