Job summary

Perseid Restaurant, located inside Hotel Saint Augustine, Montrose, Houston, seeks an engaging Restaurant Server to deliver a refined dining experience. You will collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to provide knowledgeable, guest-centric service in a Gulf Coast–inspired setting.

Ideal candidates have upscale dining experience, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality. This role supports a fast-paced environment with precise service and attention to guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in an upscale or fine dining environment.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional hospitality mindset and flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide an outstanding dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Offer menu recommendations and answer guest questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and pairings.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and order accuracy.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings and service stations.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

A server is responsible for delivering an exceptional and personalized dining experience through attentive, knowledgeable, and refined service. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of food, beverages, and menu storytelling while anticipating guest needs with genuine hospitality. They excel in a fast ‑ paced, elevated dining setting where precision, grace, and consistency are essential.
