Hypsi Restaurant in Houston Heights is seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team. You will deliver an exceptional, personalized dining experience with attentive service and menu storytelling in a fast-paced, elevated setting.

The role requires strong communication, wine knowledge, and a passion for hospitality. Previous upscale dining experience is preferred; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in upscale or fine dining preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and a passion for hospitality.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide an outstanding dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Offer menu recommendations and answer guest questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and pairings.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and order accuracy.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings and service stations.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
