Latitude Margaritaville WaterSound is currently looking for a Server to join our team!
Purpose:
The Latitude Server is on the forefront of Resident interaction with the dining program for the community, including daily restaurant and bar operations, catering, and special events.
This role requires good judgment, problem-solving skills, and maintaining positivity in a fast-paced environment while delivering the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Prepare the restaurant for service, including setting decorations, condiments, napkins, and utensils.
- Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to protect establishment and patrons.
- Explain menu specialties, identify wines, and answer food preparation questions.
- Stay updated on menu items, specialties, and kitchen stock levels.
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen, noting dietary needs and special requests.
- Serve orders, deliver accompaniments, and refill water glasses.
- Respond to patron needs and observe dining processes.
- Maintain table settings, replenish utensils, and address spills or needs.
- Open and pour wine tableside properly.
- Handle billing and payments accurately.
- Assist with cleaning tasks and fill in for absent staff as needed.
- Participate in special events and adhere to grooming standards.
- Address customer service issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
Daily Operations and Customer Experience:
- Maintain high Resident contact during service.
- Build effective teams through supervision, training, and leadership.
- Create a positive work environment.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean dining area.
Technical Competencies:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
- Previous serving experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Food Handlers Card required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and have fun.
Compensation/Work Schedule:
- $10.00/hour plus tips.
- Part-time (20-29 hours/week).
- Weekend and holiday availability required.
- Open availability preferred.
