Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA is hiring for entry‑level restaurant service staff. The starting wage is $17.15 per hour, with responsibilities that include greeting guests, describing menu options, serving beers, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages.

You will maintain knowledge of beers, assist with food and drink orders, handle payments, and ensure a clean, sanitary dining area.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One to three months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience as a restaurant server preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry a server’s tray and dinner plates on a continuous basis.

• Keeps work stations stocked, neat, clean and sanitary.
• Performs daily side work to keep area clean and running smoothly.
• Maintains a clean dining area during all hours of operation.
• Collects payments and returns change; operates and reconciles cash as trained.
• Works days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Completes appropriate daily side work to keep the area clean, stocked, and running in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Maintains a clean dining area during all hours of operation including; Bussing tables, spot sweeping, keeping unused chairs pushed in, and keeping floor clear of any other debris.
• Collects payments from guests and returns change in a timely manner.
• Operates, balances, and reconciles cash as trained.
• Works’ days, nights, weekends, special events and holidays as needed.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Occasionally may be asked to assist with moving 180-pound kegs. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
