Job Summary

Responsible for delivering food to residents and guests in a professional manner, ensuring a high-quality dining experience in a restaurant-style environment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Follow established policies and standards.
• Assist with meal tray preparation and setting up dining areas.
• Serve food attractively and professionally.
• Wait on tables using proper etiquette.
• Create a positive restaurant environment.
• Assist with meal preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and work areas.
• Assist with special food functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred food service experience.
• Ability to understand instructions.
• High personal hygiene standards.
• Ability to lift and push heavy trays, up to 25 pounds, repeatedly.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts.
• Kind and respectful attitude towards residents and the public.
• Point of service system experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, twist, and lift at least 25 pounds regularly.
