Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach MO is hiring a Restaurant Server to join the JB's Boathouse team. You will take orders, explain menu items, and interact with guests to ensure a fun, upbeat dining experience in a family-friendly setting.

Position offers full-time hours, breakfast shifts, and a pay rate of $7.50 per hour plus tips, with benefits such as 401(k), health and life insurance, PTO, and employee discounts. A background in food service and excellent English communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication with guests and team.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take guests' orders and answer menu questions with a friendly, upbeat attitude.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $7.50 per hour plus tips

Breakfast Shifts are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of ageReports to: JBs Boathouse Restaurant Manager

As a Restaurant Server, you will take the guests’ orders and answer questions about the menu as needed, maintaining the fun, upbeat culture of the restaurant in your communication with the guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor’s instructions.
• Greet guests at the table and introduce yourself.
• Explain menu items and daily specials and be able to advise on options for special dietary requirements.
• Take orders accurately and communicate orders to the kitchen promptly using the systems in place.
• Enter tickets in the Micros system accurately and promptly.
• Check on guests at the table, maintaining a positive can-do attitude and ensuring the guests have everything they need.
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Have a thorough knowledge of restaurant food and beverage preparation.
• Ensure service area is cleared and thoroughly cleaned at the conclusion of the recent meal period. All equipment must be stored in the designated area.
• Maintain constant presence in room; greet guests upon arrival and thank them for coming upon their departure.
• Communicate guest compliments/complaints to management.
• Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.
• Maintain Driftwood and resort & restaurant standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
• Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
