Job summary

Blue Moon Fish Company in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL is seeking a friendly, professional server to join our dining team. You will take orders, deliver meals and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.

You should have strong English communication, a courteous demeanor, and the ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods. Prior serving experience is preferred, and applicants must be 18 or older. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of five years of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and input the order into the POS to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order.
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests.
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
